The project was completed with the creation of the application and a entirelfy functionan prototype done it in Adobe XD, with the goal to create a coherent, user-friendly and intuitive system. We would to make every step of the treatment clear and understandable for the patient, for having this we simplify also the data and result visualization for transforming clinic and complex information into a immediatly and transparent usign experience.
During my university studies, I was tasked with investigating prevention and support systems for chronic diseases. This led to the creation of IUVA, a physiotherapy and monitoring system designed for patients affected by systemic sclerosis of the hand and pulmonary arterial hypertension. The system consists of a set of sensor-equipped gloves connected to a telemedicine platform, enabling doctors to track the pathology’s evolution from its early stages while fostering patient understanding and engagement with the therapeutic process.
The project began with comprehensive research into the medical field and an analysis of analogous case studies. We identified key personas and the target audience to structure the platform’s architecture for both the patient and the physician. Moving from initial physical prototypes and wireframes, we developed desktop and mobile sketches, eventually defining a solid and recognizable brand identity through the design of the logo, iconography, and color palette.
The project culminated in the development of the application and a high-fidelity, fully functional prototype in Adobe XD. Our goal was to create a coherent, user-friendly, and intuitive system, ensuring every step of the treatment was clear for the patient. By simplifying data and results visualization, we transformed complex clinical information into a seamless, transparent, and immediate user experience.
